The last few days have been a flurry of activities,

but I wanted to take a moment to share my reasons for running in this election. For the past 17 years, I've had the incredible privilege of working and volunteering in the community of Elmwood- Transcona. It's been an amazing journey of growth, learning, and most importantly, serving the needs of our residents.

From the very beginning, I made it my mission to truly understand the pulse of our community by actively listening to concerns, opinions and your struggles. Through countless conversations and heartfelt interactions, I've gained insight into the challenges facing our friends and neighbors.

By developing and implementing targeted programs tailored to our community's unique needs, we've made a real difference in the lives of individuals, seniors, youth, and families alike. Whether it's providing essential services, organizing enriching activities or events, or fostering partnerships with like-minded organizations, we've come together to create positive change.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of each and every one of you. Your passion, your dedication, and your belief in the power of community have fueled our efforts every step of the way.

So here's to 17 years of collaboration, compassion, and community spirit. And here's to many more years of making Elmwood- Transcona a vibrant, thriving community.

There are amazing people and organizations in this community and I am so grateful to be part of it. I would like the opportunity to continue to actively work towards bringing attention to the needs of our community but also shine some light on all the wonderful things that Elmwood -Transcona has to offer.
