Lots to think about and so much to learn. With only a few days left before the nomination meeting, I want to share a bit about myself and the values I hold dear.

At this point, it’s difficult to convey who I am and what I stand for without meeting people face to face. While it’s impossible to meet everyone and personally share my values with all those who will decide who they want to represent them as their Member of Parliament for Elmwood-Transcona, I deeply appreciate everyone who has come to this page to learn more about what I stand for. Thank you. I appreciate each and every one of you.

My determination for a better future for our children comes from being a mother of six wonderful children and grandmother of four wondrous grandchildren ❤️.

My drive for equitable healthcare stems from my gratitude for a healthcare system that helped my youngest son through cancer, yet I have seen it falter for others due to a lack of supports and the complexity of navigating the system.

My passion for providing resources and advocating for those who can’t afford basic needs—such as housing, food, healthcare, childcare, basic livable income, mental health supports, and support for our older adults—comes from meeting individuals daily and hearing their concerns.

I believe in the beauty of our diverse cultures, the importance of inclusion, and the richness of learning from our youth and giving back to our elders.

Most importantly, I believe in the incredible things we can achieve when we work TOGETHER to make a change. Because no great deeds are achieved without the help of others.
